Short Consultation (1-2 hours)
- Visit to your garden
- Talking with garden owners about trouble spots
- Drawing up rough concept sketches on site to solve your garden problems
- Planting advice, including a few named plants that would be appropriate to your garden situation
- After this short visit, I could send you an estimate for further design work, should you decide to move into the full design process to have a scaled drawing for your garden.
Full Consultation to begin design process (2-3 hours)
- Viewing and talking with you about your gardens & property
- Discussion plant selections
- Discussion of structural, practical & safety issues
- Drawing up rough concept sketches on site to solve your garden problems
- Taking Survey Measurements, if not already provided
- After this first visit, I will send you an estimate for further
work to complete your scaled garden design plan.
Design
- Scale drawing of site

Hardscape design - suggested materials,
- Planting plan - plant choice for structure, color, bloom time and environmental conditions

Color rendering of new areas

Black and white scale copies provided, as well as a digital file of the full color design
Second Meeting
- We will meet to look at the proposed garden plan
- Edits can be made at this point
- Talk about plans for installation, which can be done by a landscape company or garden owners
- Shopping list for your plants (provided with all planting plans)
- Estimates for plants by request
Installation
- Garden drawings maybe given to a landscape company for installation, or owners may chose to work on the garden over a period of time
- I can contact local nurseries to order plants for your design, which is especially helpful when suitable substitutions need to be made for plants that are unavailable

Planting, pruning and maintenance lessons and advice for garden owner(s)

I can help with plant placement on site according to your garden plan
